NOTE 1: This new Updater app is ONLY for Teracube 2e 1st batch (SN: 2020) Zirconia running Android 16.0.1. Please read the differences here carefully and install accordingly.
NOTE 2: To continue getting updates, you must install the new Updater app below.
Why This Update is Needed? A patch in Android 16 recovery blocked installation of A-only updates. This new Updater app includes a hotfix that restores the ability to install future updates. Without it, your device won’t be able to receive any future Android 16 updates.
What’s Fixed?
Fixed compatibility issues preventing future Android 16 updates (without this, your device won’t update)
How to Install:
- Click here to download the new Updater app.
- Tap the downloaded file.
- When you see “Installation blocked”, tap “Settings”
- Turn ON “Allow from this source”
- Tap the back arrow
- Tap “Install”
Can’t find it? Go to Settings > Apps > Special app access > Install unknown apps > Find your browser > Turn ON
- Open the new Updater app.
- Check for updates - the new update will appear!
Already installed the new Updater app? Just ignore any messages about installing it and tap Download to get the update.
Important: The old Updater app will stop working. You only need to do this once.
If You See “Not Enough Space”:
Don’t worry - this won’t delete your photos, contacts, or apps!
- Turn off your phone completely
- Hold Volume Up + Power button together until you see a menu
- Use Volume buttons to highlight “Recovery mode”, then press Power button
- Use Volume buttons to highlight “Wipe cache partition”, then press Power button
- Select “Yes”
- Select “Reboot system now”
- Try the update again
