Why is the little white light always on to the right of the front camera? How can I turn it off, and what does this light refer to? Thanks for the help.
Probably notifications pending/unread. Depending on which build you’re on, it might be possible to turn off the notification LED and avoid it.
Alternatively, it could be the charging LED. Don’t believe any of our builds allow disabling that.
Welcome!
Maymne is right.
However, if you are using Murena /e/OS, you can turn off the charging light entirely.
There are also settings to change the brightness, but they do not take effect.
Thank you, it’s not the charging light, it’s a led near the right side of the front camera
The small white one?
That is our notification/charging LED.
In fact, the charge LED is more to the right, but when manipulating my phone, this LED has now gone out, why I don’t know… Thanks for the support.
Do you mean proximity sensor?
My teracube 2e (build 11.0.4+75a3294.user) also randomly has a light on-on the front (just like when it is charging) & I believe it happens when it gets too warm. I turn it off then back on and that light is gone. This seems to have started this year. I wonder why & if it does indicate something.
Is it the same location/color as the white charging light?
How many times have you experienced this?
Also, can you update the the latest/current Android 13 build and see if the same situation occurs?
