Had to add an APN too. Now it works after Android 11 update (T2e batch 2020)
Could you share the APN settings that you had to add (and for which carrier)?

Yes. It is for Telenet (Belgium) (Telenet - Belgium APN settings - APN.how)
Had to add only ‘telenetwap.be’ under APN option.
I did ‘reset wi-fi, bluetooth, data’ under ‘System > Options for resetting > …’ prior, but that didn’t work.
Maybe it did in combination.
