I’m not able to call/text over wifi on Freedom mobile in Canada. Suggestions?

Emerald/Zinconia? Android version?
As well, have you verified the APN settings between your phone and Freedom’s website?

@Natasha_F - Many Canadian carriers enable Wifi calling only for “Certified” devices. Could you call Freedom Mobile to check if they will allow you to use wifi calling on a BYOD device?

Yeah they said it’s no good with this phone, but I’m traveling and I don’t understand why it won’t work for WiFi calling with no SIM. It’s a 2e, Android 10

That’s the reason - they won’t allow the BYOD phone to use Vowifi even though the phone has no SIM.
