This is most likely due to the age-based content restrictions in google family link. Disney+ (and many other apps) are only available to Teens or older.
Follow these instructions to fix your child’s restrictions:
- Open the Google Family link app on the parent’s phone. Alternatively, use a PC browser to open https://familylink.google.com/
- Under your child’s profile, click Controls > Content restrictions > Google Play
- Under “Apps & games”, select “Teen” or higher.
- Now search for Disney+ again on your child’s play store. It should be available to install.
