Disney+ (or other) apps not available in Thrive phone play store? [Answered]

This is most likely due to the age-based content restrictions in google family link. Disney+ (and many other apps) are only available to Teens or older.

Follow these instructions to fix your child’s restrictions:

  1. Open the Google Family link app on the parent’s phone. Alternatively, use a PC browser to open https://familylink.google.com/
  2. Under your child’s profile, click Controls > Content restrictions > Google Play
  3. Under “Apps & games”, select “Teen” or higher.
  4. Now search for Disney+ again on your child’s play store. It should be available to install.
