Here are indirect steps to block the hotspot feature on your child’s phone:
- Open the hotspot settings on your child’s phone
- Tap “Wi-Fi hotspot”
- Change the Hotspot password to something new that your child can not guess.
- Now open the Teracube Parent app on your own phone
- Under Manage apps > Approved apps, find the app named “Settings”. Go inside and block the “Settings” app.
Your child will not be able to use the hotspot feature since they don’t know the new password.
These steps will also block all other Android settings. You can allow the Settings app on a case by case basis.
