I’m trying to download photos stored on my phone to computer or additional memory devise . After connecting phone to computer it gives note “This folder is empty”
I do not want to download photos to Google . I need to download it to computer

Sorry for the frustration.
On the phone, you’ll have a notification that will default to Charging This Device. You will have an option to connect the device in File Transfer mode.
Once that happens, you should be able to browse the device.
If your computer is Windows 10 or greater you can use Phone Link. This allows you to transfer pictures over Wi-Fi. It also allows you to handle messages or calls from your phone on your PC. It can be a bit temperamental but overall, it works well.
