Follow these steps to upgrade your child’s phone firmware
- Connect the child’s phone to Wifi (updates require a wifi connection). If you don’t have a wifi network, please enable hotspot on any caregiver’s phone and use that to connect the child’s phone to wifi.
- Restart the child’s phone.
The phone will start downloading and installing the new updates automatically (after about 5 mins of the restart). You can continue to use the child’s phone in the meantime - it’ll automatically restart after the update.
Note: The phone may restart multiple times to install sequential updates.
