I provided the wrong pin number in the request to transfer my old number, how do I update the request? (Original request failed)

I am setting up a new phone for my kid and requested to keep his old number; however, in the request I provided the wrong PIN and it failed. The only option I see is to request it again, but I cannot find how to update the PIN before requesting again. Thank you!
