Linux OS options for Teracube 2e?

ahoy all,

i am wondering if anyone has any experience with and/or info on running a non-Android Linux-based OS on the 2e? there are many projects but some of the more well-known ones are:

  in particular i see that there is at least a listing on the postmarketOS devices page for the Teracube One Teracube One (teracube-one) - postmarketOS but seemingly no progress/updates. otherwise i cannot find any other info regarding the Teracube devices.

I doubt it would ever happen. Get a Pinephone if you want a true Linux phone.

it does seem that the Mediatek SoC is not the easiest to support with Linux, though there is work being done. also with the openness and help from Teracube Inc. it might not be hopeless

that was the original plan but unfortunately we needed to run some Android apps and currently Anbox and WayDroid are still not up to the task on the PinePhone. maybe the new PinePhone Pro will make that more of a reality.
