My Teracube 2e is very slow and I only have half a gig of RAM available

I run very few if any apps in the background. I am on Android 16, the latest version available for my phone. I wish I could see the exact RAM usage of each app in settings, but I can’t seem to find that option. Admittedly I do have a cracked screen and some other moisture damage, but I’ve had this phone for about two years or so and these issues are coming up now. I will buy a replacement screen, so that problem should be resolved soon.

Anyone suggestions on how I can get my phone running well?

Android will cache a ton of things, so free memory tends to be fairly low. It will, however, also aggressively release cold memory pages as soon as it needs to under memory pressure.

If it is slow immediately following an upgrade, this is normally due to maintenance and upgrade tasks that run in the background. It should settle in a few days.

You may be right. I factory reset my phone about a month ago, and I had to reinstall a lot of upgrades.
I have 1.2GB of free RAM now.
