Power on Teracube 2e without a battery?

Hello!

I just opened my Teracube 2e to slot a micro-sdcard and the battery was swollen. I’m disposing of it properly and plan to order a replacement battery, but in the meantime is there any way to power on the phone without a battery installed?

It’s not urgent as I’m pretty confident that my backup scheme hasn’t left anything truly critical stored only on the device. I was curious when I tried plugging it into a charger and powering it on without a battery and it didn’t power on.

Unfortunately not. A battery installed in the battery compartment is required for proper operation of the phone.

That being said, removing/stopping usage of the swollen battery pack was the right call, so thank you for doing that without using it further.
