Recently purchased a Razer Kishi controller, which claim to be compatible with most android phones with a centered USB C port. When I try using it with my or my wife’s 2e, it does not work at all. When I go to the USB settings (where you are able to select USB controlled by this device, connected device, etc.) the page seems to blink as if the device is constantly connecting and reconnecting. I have a galaxy S8 and the Kishi works fine with that. Is there a reason the 2e would be incompatible? I have updated Android to the latest version available.
Probably something to do with the same reason that usb-c to usb-c cables don’t work.
I also can’t connect to my PC with usb-c to usb-c; have to use a usb-a to c cable.
Terracube seriously f’d up the usb compatibility on the 2e.
Team is checking on this - will report back in a week or so.
Our team tried regular OTG adapters (for connecting mice and such) and they work. Potentially this Kishi controller needs special drivers that are included in the Qualcomm stack but not on Mediatek stack yet.
