Replacement screen availability

I’m wondering if @Sharad or anyone else can give me an estimate of when replacement screens will be available to order again. I tried ordering one today, but was disappointed that they’re not in stock.
I’m on the waitlist now, but it will make a big difference if I have to wait days to order vs months.

My screen began to come off a few days ago and it’s gradually gotten worse since then. I have it in a protective case and noticed the screen was not firmly attached everywhere and I could raise it at the top especially. Yesterday I picked my phone up from a counter where it had been placed face down and this time i picked the phone up and the screen almost completely separated. I was surprised it still responded/worked when I pressed it back into place. I’m going to try to hold in in place using tape, but am not confident it will work as a “long term solution”.

If anyone knows where you can buy/order a replacement screen for the Teracube 2e zirconia or has a better solution than tape I’d love to hear it!

What region are you in? I’ll ping the team to restock that region and get back with an estimate, if they have one.

Hi,

Same question, I’m in the UK. Any idea when the screens might be back in stock?

Thanks
Joe

Sorry I missed your question. Glad Justjoe responded, which did get my attention.
I’m in the US, have checked at cell phone repair stores since I first asked without any luck.

The tape is still working, but not sure how long I can trust that

I’ll ping about US/UK stock and get back.

It looks like screen replacement stock is expected early 2026 (February is the current target).

I’ll keep my fingers crossed; screen stock can’t come too soon.

Hi,
I have been waiting for a replacement screen for my 2e in EU for months now (via waiting list). I just came back to notice that the shop changed and the screen replacement page
https://myteracube.com/collections/spare-parts/products/teracube-2e-replacement-screen?variant=39527483047985
no longer exists
Does this mean I won’t be able to get a new screen at all?

The 2s and the 2e share the same (updated) replacement part, found here:

I’ll ask the team if they can put in a redirect from the defunct part to the current part.

Any word on the replacement screens being available? Getting to the point where I might just have to get a different phone. Not what I want to do, but the glue has failed and the screen is now falling off the phone body.

I’ve re-pinged them.

I know they are working on something, but I don’t have confirmation yet. Please bear with us a bit again.

Any news? I’d take any region at this point and cross-ship.

One of the main attractions of the Teracube series is the iFixit replacement score. This becomes meaningless if the parts are not available.

The storefronts will not let you cross-ship.

What region are you in, and what specific device do you need a screen for?

Yes, but many services exist to do forwarding.

This thread is for the 2e. You said the 2e and the 2s have the same screen replacement though; are there any replacement screens in stock for any models?

CA and Global Stores have screens currently:

I ask for device confirmation just to confirm we are discussing the same thing.

Replacement screen and battery are now in stock in the US. (same parts for T2e and T2s)

Should be in stock on Murena.com for EU customers.

@Sharad @Saijin_Naib
Glad the screens are (finally) back in stock. I’m sure there’s a rationale for keeping the stock low, but same as @RFalconer the iFixit replacement score was big factor in purchasing the 2SE.

My screen has been held on with tape since October. Lately it’s been behaving “weirder”, and I’ve been thinking I might have to replace it. I’m hoping the issues are related to the screen being half detached and this can keep it going a bit longer.

But not having replacement parts readily available is effective the same as the part not being replaceable. If you’re marketing the phone as being repairable, you need to make the parts more reliably available.
