My screen is falling off, the repair instructions say to open the phone from the back but it’s loose in the front only connected to the rest of the phone by wires and sort of held in place by the case but sometimes that comes loose and it doesn’t work.

Sorry to hear that.
It sounds like the adhesive that bonds the screen to the mid-frame has let go.
Some folks DIY it back together (Screen peeling off. Suggestions? - #2 by Saijin_Naib), or you can either send it in for replacement or get a new screen.
