Just wanted to give a quick update that it’s working now (I’m on T-mo through Red Pocket).
One caveat, when airplane mode is on calls can be received but not made.
I understand this may have been an issue on earlier stock Android versions and may have been fixed in A13. If anyone has any info to share on this it would be appreciated.
