Whatsapp not working on Teracube Thrive Kids Phone

If you are experiencing issues setting up WhatsApp on your child’s phone, please follow these steps:

These steps require a working Parent WhatsApp account.

On the child’s phone:

  1. Add the parent as a contact. This will allow the Parent to send text to the child.

On the Parent’s phone:

  1. Open the Parent app and disable “Safe calling”. We will enable it back later.
  2. Open the contacts app and add the child’s phone number as a contact.
  3. Open Whatsapp, tap “New chat” and search for your child’s contact name. Tap “Invite” to invite your child. This will send a text to your child’s phone

On the child’s phone:

  1. You would have received a invite text from the Parent. Click the link in the text to accept the invite.
  2. Wait 2-3 hours and then try the Whatsapp setup again on the child’s phone.
