[Certified] Android 13.2.1 for Teracube 2e Emerald (SN:2021)

Got one phone to update fully but not the other one it says it did but security patch is still Feb. not March also it will not install march by it’s self.

Do share the screenshot as to where you are seeing. The vendor patches might be older and that’s expected (Will patch that up in coming SMR). Usually the patch level in Android version matters.

here you go.

Thats Play system updates these are issued by Google directly. Our patch level is already on March 2025.

It down loads the update and installs it then on reboot it takes long time and then doesn’t start and reboots again. If I go to security it say to update it but never works. My other updated and installed the security update

One of my units will do this as well. Just keep patient and it will stick.

After installing the latest update noticed that the autofocus on the camera isn’t working. Related?

Were you experiencing this before as well?

Yours will be the first report of such I am aware of.

Are you using the default Camera app, or a different one?

Have you tried a factory reset yet?

After last week’s OTA patch, I had the same issue on Zirconia, both with the default app and with OpenCamera. I had been about to file a report, but then another patch came out and the camera focus worked again after I installed it.

(Since patches don’t normally come out so close together, I’d assumed you’d gotten deluged with camera-focus complaints and had released the second patch in response to it. Surprised to hear you hadn’t seen any prior reports.)

I’ve have a Teracube 2e Emerald with eOS for about 3 years. Its had eOS Android 12 for over a year now. It feels like the eOS folks are focused on the Fairphones the Xiaomis and other phones. I know you have Android 13 on the Teracube side for a while. Would the upgrade process you have work with eOS in order to switch over to Android 13?

If you restore it to Teracube Emerald stock, then follow the upgrade instructions for 13, it should work well. If you’re trying to go directly from /e12 to standard 13, that might be a messier process.

Thank you for the information.

I installed a system update a couple months ago, and everything on my phone has run very slowly since.

A new update just pushed through within the last couple weeks. I installed it this morning in hopes that it would address some of the prior update’s issues

Now my phone cannot send or receive phone calls on cingular

Texting and Internet still work; it’s just the phone function that is broken

Any suggestions on how to fix? Other than a factory reset?

Sorry to hear that.

Have you done a Network Reset and verified the APN settings with Cingular Support?

I’m having the same problem. I updated on Monday, 4-21 and there were two updates that I found…(one was released in Dec. and the other one on March 5th) . I have emerald model and I didn’t pay attention to the first update released in Dec. to notice whether it was for Emerald model… I hope so but either way, since the update, I can’t make or receive phone calls… phone has been wonky for months as well…apps not responding, taking over 5 minutes for phone to be ready to use from startup, screen going black and not being able to get it to go to home screen, rebooting on it’s own… I did a soft reset, a factory reset from the phone, (not the one that you have to use Win10/11 with), did not clear cache though and still just silence when calling anyone and then ends the call…which is what others experience when they call me. Am waiting for text back from phone company to see if they can reset the network as I have no idea what this is or how to do it…

A fix is being worked on and an update should arrive soon.

Any idea when the fix will be pushed out? It’s very frustrating to have a phone that cannot function as a phone.

Hi @Denis_Mcelroy - we just rolled out shiny new Android 14 builds that have gone through some basic internal testing and have ATT working. Can you try them out?

Thankfully, the new build works. I can even make and receive phone calls. I hope y’all do a better job of beta testing on subsequent releases before pushing them out.
