I am experiencing a significant delay in sending and receiving text messages.
I have had my TeraCube 1 smart phone for about a month and I am very happy with it, however I am finding that I have a delay upwards of two+ hours for some of my texts to go through, at first I thought it was due to data limitations, (texting a picture or small video file) however sometimes it’s a short text message of just 2 or 3 words… I have TMobile as a carrier and I show great signal, and sometimes it’s over WiFi… I need help please!!!
If your calling is working fine, then this could be an isolated issue with the messaging app. Please try the following:
- Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Messages > Storage. Clear Cache and Clear Storage.
- Reboot and retry messaging.
If this does not fix it, then you can do a cache cleanup. You might need a factory reset if the cache cleanup didn’t do the job.
