We’re excited to introduce enhanced Multi-Parent Support in the Teracube Thrive Parent app!
As families grow and co-parenting evolves, we want to make it easy for multiple parents or guardians to work together in keeping their child’s phone safe and healthy. Our latest update introduces admin controls, ensuring one parent takes the lead — while still supporting collaborative parenting with shared access.
 What’s New?
 What’s New?
In the past, any parent could connect to a child’s device and start managing it. But without a clear owner, this sometimes led to conflicting settings or confusion.
With the new system, the first parent becomes the Admin , giving them control to manage who else can connect — making the experience safer, clearer, and easier for everyone.

Step 1: First Parent = Admin
Step 1: First Parent = Admin
The first parent to connect becomes the Admin and manages access for others.
 Step 2: Others Request Access
 Step 2: Others Request Access
Secondary parents must send a request to the Admin. It will show as Pending until approved.
Step 3: Admin Approves or Declines
Step 3: Admin Approves or Declines
The Admin gets a FCM notification and can approve or decline the request.
All approvals/declines show up in the Notifications tab.
How to See Who’s Managing Your Child’s Account
How to See Who’s Managing Your Child’s Account
To view and manage connected caregivers:
- Open Parent app → Click on Child Profile → Account Settings → Manage Caregivers
- You’ll see a list of all parents/guardians connected to your child’s phone
- From here, you can:
- Remove someone from the list
- Reassign Admin to another parent, if needed
This helps ensure only trusted adults have access to your child’s Thrive profile.
 Unlink or Delete child profile
 Unlink or Delete child profile
-
If you’re the Admin and choose to delete the child’s profile, all data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
If you don’t want to delete the profile, you can go to Account Settings → Manage Caregivers and reassign the Admin role to another parent before unlinking yourself.
-
If you’re not the Admin , you can simply choose to Unlink , and you’ll lose access to the child’s profile.
