Other person hears themself on phone call

Hi everyone,

I just got off the phone with someone, and they reported to me that they can hear themselves when they speak.

I just updated this morning to the new Wireless Update S1 07, if that helps.

What’s interesting is that once I turned on my speaker phone, the other person said they no longer heard themself.

Might be related to the update, might not. Just wanted to start this thread to see if anyone else was having this issue.

This is most likely the same as this issue. Its on our list of things to work on - probably along with Android 10. As you mentioned, this happens only when the Teracube user is on earpiece call (and not on speakerphone). Workaround is to reduce Teracube’s volume to around 50% during calls on earpiece.

Hi Sharad, thanks for linking me to that older post, and for the quick reply! :slightly_smiling_face:

I realized that I’d been accidentally mitigating this issue by plugging in my headphones into the headphone jack and using that for calls, so that may be another temporary solution for other people.
