I just received my phone and was trying to set up the fingerprint option to unlock the phone. I was able to add my fingerprints, but it does not give me the option to use it for screen unlock in security settings. Any advice?
Hi there - sorry for the late reply. Please do the following:

Check if you have the latest software version by going to Settings > System > About > Wireless update.

Perform a cache reset.

If that does not fix the issue, then perform a backup and factory reset.

I ran into the same issue here regarding fingerprints. All fingerprint related stuff was gone, OS and applications. Support suggested a factory reset, but luckily I found this entry.
Cache reset did it. Everything is working fine again.
