Received this notification today… unsure how to work around it.
What Android version are you currently using?
Android 10 , teracube build number 10.0.2+d087f19.user
Thanks for confirming.
I use this Alpha on my One/ruby (be advised that is an Alpha release):
Be warned that it is not certified, so I could not download/use things like DisneyPlus or a few other apps with restrictive DRM or other requirements, but works just fine for regular daily-use for my apps and usecase.
Android 13 is still supported and should be for a time yet, so if normal functionality like the Phone app is crucial for you on your One, this may be your best bet for the time being.
thanks Saijin. i looked at the link info. it says wifi calling is not working on the alpha. i need wifi calling because of problems with service tower signals (lack of). As well, i have never been successful with rooting devices to load unofficial/beta releases of OS upgrades for phones or tablets. If it can be bricked i will unintentionally somehow do so.
Ah, yes, WiFi-Calling indeed does not work.
Root is not required, but rather just manual flashing.
I’ve pinged the team to see if anything else can be done to smooth this process over more.
Thanks Saijan,
current status is can no longer make or receive calls. either calls to the phone say caller not available or any calls out never proceeds to ring sound, it simply stops calling after a few moments and makes disconnection sound.
The team and Sharad know, and I’ve re-pinged them to ask what possible paths forward might be.
