MichT, root access and unlocked bootloader are not the same thing. You’ll need to root the device.

May I ask a last question then:
I read a bunch of recommendations how to root a Teracube 2e now.
There is a lot of stuff going on with the different versions of the phone.
I have a 2022. Which method to root this phone is the most straightforward one?

If it fails, then no problem, however, I would like to start with the most promising attempt.

No, this was serious. Didn’t actually know that there is a difference between routing and unlocking bootloader. For people that are into it, this may sound ridiculous. For me this was a key information.

Hello everyone!!
I have a pixel 6a. Device state is locked. I cannot unlock the bootloader. OEM unlock option is greyed out. I have searched everywhere but couldn’t find a solution.
How do I enable my OEM unlock option so that it’s not greyed out and I can unlock my bootloader.

This Community is specifically geared towards the TeraCube devices, so I am not sure if we would be the best resource for Google Pixel 6a support.

Have you checked the /e/OS documentation for the Pixel 6a? They, and LineageOS, have good documentation for re-locking, if possible, for most of their devices.
