The wifi connection on my 2e has always been a little spotty, (i.e. it will connect for several minutes and then disconnect.) but now is failing to connect to my network. The phone will recognize the network and password, and while it will list the network as “saved” it will not connect.
Can you do the following:

Clear the cache partition.

Remove all old wifi connections and retry.

Check if you are able to connect to any other network - friend, neighbor or office?

If nothing else works, then a backup+factory reset may be needed.
