[ Advanced ] Enable Developer Options

Many useful and slightly advanced features are set aside under Developer options. They are hidden by default. Here is how to make them visible:

  1. Goto Settings > About phone
  2. Scroll to bottom and Tap “Build number” 7 times. Enter password if required.
  3. Developer options will now be available under Settings > System > Advanced

Correction:

  1. Setting>About Phone>Build Number
  2. Tap “Build number” 7 times.
    (challenging if magnification enabled with triple tap.)
  3. Enter password, if enabled.
  4. Developer options will now be available under Settings > System >advanced>Developer Options.

On Android 10 I was able to use this mode to change the icon shapes. I don’t see this option anymore, or I am completely missing it. Is there a way to change icon shapes? Online it says there should be a setting called “app styles” in the display settings, but I don’t have that option.
