[ Troubleshooting ] Factory-Reset with No Touchscreen

Note: If you are able to use the Android on your phone, then follow this [ How-To ] Factory Reset (Erase all user data)

Explanation
Before we service a damaged phone we ask users to perform a Factory Reset. This process deletes all personal data on the phone, which helps protect your privacy. In some cases, the damage leading to the service may also render the touchscreen inoperable. It is not possible to perform a traditional factory reset without the use of the touchscreen. The steps below will allow you to remove your data from a phone that does not have a functioning touchscreen.

Option 1 (Install factory software)

  • For Teracube 2e, follow this guide.

  • For Teracube One, follow the SP Flash process. This will remove all prior data as well.

Option 2 (if the screen can display but touch doesn’t work)

  1. First enter Recovery Mode.

  2. While in Recovery Mode, use the Volume buttons to move through the options until “Factory Reset” is highlighted, then press the Power button to select it. Confirm the reset, then wait for the phone to complete the factory reset process.
